Looking forward to breakfast when

porline interrupts to tell me I am getting a shower before breakfast.

Fast & efficient like Victor who seems to have disappeared.

Breakfast/Unexpected visit from Rosa calling me to PT at 11:15am.

Unexpected time on the BIKE=5.6km. New personal distance for me.

Emily works with me on walking exercises. Then I walk one length. Steve & Nico appear suddenly before my eyes. He takes a couple of pictures.

Walk back down the hall to my usual table in the dining room.

Steve takes Nico out to his car then sits at our table for a few minutes.

Steve leaves as he has shit
 (AKA Stuff) to do.

Heard from Marcus for the first time in a long time.

Need ideas for losing weight!

Hand therapy with Meghan.

Dream about WernerHertel visiting me with a number of Norwegians:

fair skinned, blonde hair, blue eyes. Several ex-military.

We talk about Norway taking troops out of Syria a week from today.

Another country sucked into yet another of America's endless wars.

Good for them!

Downstairs for BIKE=2.3km, after breakfast.

BP=120/81at 10:35 by Marie Sharp.

Perfect, she said.

Lunch. Nandu wants me in PT after lunch.

We do some torture exercises on the ligaments and tendons on the underside of my legs.
Mostly the left.  Then some walking down the long first floor hallway.  We get to the door and he lets me go out.  I am wearing a tshirt and thin sweat pants.  A FANTASTIC feeling. It is cool and a wind is blowing.  But I feel invigorated.  Then the long walk back down the hall to the PT room and my wheelchair.

Earlier today I got a SHOWER.
Just before breakfast a Doctor Davis showed up to clip my toenails.

Supper was large pasta shells filled with white stuff and tomato sauce, mixed veggies, Mandarin Oranges for dessert.

19:13 Finishing todays writing and thinking about going to bed.Does anyone reading this blog know how to move photos from my phone to the blog. I am going to try something...

That seems to have worked.

Got up lare for PT, 7:68, BIKE=5.2km, back for breakfast.

Right after breakfast Nandu shows up to take me down for stretching therapy.

ome improvement. He suggests the bike. OK.  BIKE=2.3km, I think,  Low because I was
sleepy from the big breakfast.

Skipped lunch. Meghan wants me for hand therapy. We discuss the Massachusetts Avenue Celebration of some years ago, plus tags I used for various places I have lived:

     http://flicker.com/rlg/tags/40wa

     http://flicker.com/rlg/tags/31rs

editing tags on flicker

brushed my teeth

SQUATS=100. then to bed

Do you remember the big celebration day of
Massachusetts Avenue when people walked the length of it?
What was the date of that event?

BIKE=5.2km, another new personal best.

Followed by some torture by Nandu to stretch my calf mulcles and back of my thighs, plus a short walk in the all using my small quad cane.

sked for a shower, went to my room, but nothing.

Writing this at 11:52, trying to decide about going down to lunch.

Missed lunch. Probably wont kill me.  Bob showed up for his usual visit.

We visit the kitchen and bank.  an unusual problem at the bank: too much money in my account.

Perhaps we should plant some Redwoods at FPR:  https://e360.yale.edu/digest/arborists-have-cloned-ancient-redwoods-from-their-massive-stumps

A dog and cat video:  https://twistedsifter.com/videos/dog-fart-is-so-bad-the-cat-pukes/

Missrd lunch.  Downstairs for supper.

About to do SQUATS=100

14:00  BIKE=4.3 or 4.8km this morning after breakfast.  Caught Jonahs attention on my floor before breakfast.  He said when to come down.  RichardB was on the bike when I arrived.  Waited a few minutes for him to finish.

16:07 WEIGHT=170.2

Watching another episode of THE INVADERS.

Hand therapy with Meghan today.  Then to my room where she adjusted my finger stretching device. She planned to come back around 4pm to see how it went.  But something must have come up for her.  6:35pm and still no sign.

Joe and I found I coat on a chair in the dining room by the big TVThere was a set of keys in one pocket. They could have been car and house keys which would be very important to either a staff, patient, or visitor.  So I tried to find someone in administration to handle it.  Nobody. So I sent an email and left  a phone message on Kyles phone.

Now trying to finish up the days writing and finish a half watched episode of THE INVADERS on youtube.

19:40  SQUATS=100  Ate a dish of apricots.  Definition of apricot: a place where gorillas sleep.

Stionary BIKE=4.8 km, a new personal record for me.

Breakfast 20-30 minutes after 8am.

10am Carlos cleans my AC filter.

Large BM in bathroom across the hall. Maud washes and changes me, then makes my bed with all clean/new sheets/etc.

Emily is cleaning/sweeping the room.
Interesting bit of STAR TREK trivia from Bob yesterday.  His father grew up with Leonard Nimoy in the North End.  Apparently boyhood friends.

10:50am just finished shaving and brushing my teeth, whats left of them!

Xandu Menom comes to my room and takes me down to PT for some strenuous exercises.  I joke with him and call it torture.  Its mostly my very tight left leg.  I promise to do 25 LTRs before going to bed.

13:50pm More flicker tag editingAnother episode of Star Trek.

25 Left Toe Raises.

7:48pm  90 Squats beside my bed.

Short biography of Richard written by Ron Beatty

Richard Gardner spent some time growing up on a small farm in Burlington, Wyoming,  near where he eventually managed to graduate from high school(Cody, Wyoming). After leaving he spent a short amount of time  studying at a small technological university on the banks of the Charles River in Cambridge, Massachusetts. At  various times he studied there again, worked there, and taught there. He designed, built, and staffed the Boston Children's Museum’s first public access computer exhibit. Not long after that he cofounded the Boston Computer Society. After that he was off to live and return many times during the 1980's, to an Austrian artists commune. With the rise of the web in 1993 he started an online version of the Art Deadlines List and created one of the first documentary film industries web sites for Documentary Educational Resources. The Art Deadlines List remains in business today while many competitors have come and gone. In April 2004 he started documenting Fresh Pond Reservation in Cambridge, Massachusetts, through photos and words on the web.
