BM before going d0wn to PT.

8:02am Just returned from PT and 3.7km on stationary bike.

Waiting for breakfast.  Done.

Trying to keep a photo of Cheyenne on the screen. Keeps going away  and replaced by spinning
rainbow/fireworks.

I call it Breakfast with Cheyenne:  http:/goo.gl/images/ANCCqM
She was likely 20 something in this photo.

After PT I stop off at Richard Berkleys room to ask if his daughter has arrived.

No, tomorrow the 28th he reminds me.

Some days ago he asked me to tell Lilly Catherine Berkley that he loved her if
he died before she got here.  I agreed.

I feel like a failure with my own daughter.   Did I tell her I loved her that day in
2014 as we stood on the Huron Avenue sidewalk just after lunch at Full Moon
with the kids.  But memory fades that and other moments I think we met after
my stroke.

But the knowledge of undiscovered kin/ancestry keeps the desire to love and be
loved is strong and well.

So every morning I have breakfast with Cheyenne however faint and faraway she is.

Maybe one day, for real I will get out a big frying pan.  Put a bit of  olive oil in it and
cook up some onions an garlic.  Then add several eggs plus chopped black olives,
peppers, bits of salmon, who knows what else is sitting on a shelf waiting to take
its place in the great chain of life.  Coffee for her if she wants. For me with a big
tablespoon of Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa Dark Double Chocolate so it is
palatable.

11:20am getting on towards lunch and I still need to brush my teeth...

Blind creature that buries its head in the sand named after Tronald Dump:

Bob Slate visited today, as usual, but just abit late. We ent outside to sit in the Sun.  45 degrees with a slight breeze.  He got cold so we went to the dinin hall and sat with the Sun shining on us.  Chatted with Joe a bit as he waited for the BINGO games to begin.

then we go upstairs where it is time to bid Bob adieu.  Then he is gone with some Jewish best wishes for the new year.  Cant remember them, Maybe Don will know.

Just did 80 Squats in the bathroom.

Weighed earlier today.  Came in at 171.0 pounds. Down 1 pound from last week.

Dow up just over 1,000 points. The rest of today will likely be a dull day.

Maybe I will watch another dono video while waiting for supper.  Or clean out some more of that damned mailbox.

4:37 pm

7:23pm  Email to Laurie

Just ate the last of your chocolate Christmas treats. Delish!

The piece of white paper at the bottom of the package of treats is, at the very least,
unused advertising space.  Put your website address there.

Bob Slate visited today.  Great as usual.  Outside for the first time in a week.

7:27  Just did 80 SQUATS=80  beside my bed.  Time to shut this
monster black time hole thief down.

Wednesday December 19, 2018

I open blogger again and magically a NEW POST  button appears on the left of my screen.  So I click it and find myself able to write this post.

While trying to post last time the NEW POST button appeared in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

A few minutes ago several EMTs and firemen were in the room removing Eric, my roommate on a stretcher.

Apparently, earlier today he went out for a doctors appointment an ws involved in a car accident on the way back.  He seemed ok when I saw and talked to him.

I told one of the firemen that my daddy was a fireman in Northwest Washington DC and may have died from injuries sustained while fighting a fire.

I told another fireman that my grandpa was a volunteer fireman.  And then they were gone.

Then Steve and Nico called.  I had to explain all this to him.

18:15  Back from supper and Eric has ewturned to walk the halls and reas his cellphone,

Time for bed.

Rocket Boy and Tech Toy Boy here cant possibly see too many youtube,so I have been gorging myself since my fixed computer returned to my room 306b cave.

Just finished the story of the Saturn V:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HI2BwFyZpt8

Earlier: Explore The Milky Way Galaxy:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xwSQVSlccCg

Elsie offered to give me an unexpected shower today. Tues & Friday are my normal shower days.
Afterwaeds I asked her to imagine that I gave her a $100 bill.

My old pal's(Ron Beatty) early and short annual Christmas letter:

Finally, after all those long, long annual letters, this is a short one and surprisingly early.  If you’d like the normal lengthy annual letter, I would be surprised and delighted to send it.

Cynthia and I are still alive and doing well.  Yes, we still travel by motorcycle most of the year throughout the continental U.S.  Cynthia loves watching the “kaleidoscope of change” that one sees while motorcycling.  Just now we are again at the vacation rental owned by Cynthia's son Jon at Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula east of Galveston, TX, following grandson Eric’s wedding in November and our recent efforts to help fund country clubs and yachts for lots of doctors.
My heart has remained mostly trouble-free ever since the multiple procedures in 2016, 5 stents, an ablation and pacemaker installed in 2017.  Thank God.  We continue to thank God as we count our blessings.  Cynthia is my wonderfulest blessing, and she counts me high on her list too.

2018 was great; in April we discovered Greer Lodge in Greer, Arizona (click here), a new beautiful place where we can walk to daily hikes in the mountains.  Sedona remains Cynthia’s favorite place (click here), and we spent a month there.  In Pagosa Springs, Colorado we saw as many as thirteen deer with velvet on antlers during our daily walks around the neighborhood. (Google: Pagosa Springs, CO photos.)  Our one “adventure” of the year was fishtailing alarmingly in foot-deep silty dirt on New Mexico state highway 126 between Cuba and Los Alamos.  Yes, 14 miles of dirt road on a New Mexico official state highway.  Cynthia now dictates, “NO more dirt.”
The highlight of the year for Cynthia was meeting a new great grandson and great granddaughters.

After our first visit to the Pritikin LongevityCenter in April of 2017, Cynthia said, “I could live here !!”  Our month-long stay at the Pritikin in November of 2017 transformed my creaky old body into a more youthful feeling creaky old body.  On our daily walks, we now pay attention to pelvic tilt, tight core, and scapular retraction, and it is transforming.  For the last year, we both have awakened and gone through nearly every day nearly pain-free !!  Cynthia’s back and foot pain and sciatica are also quiescent.  It is a miracle !!

We intend to spend the month of February 2019 at Pritikin (in Miami).  Besides poshaccommodations and golf resort scenery (click here), a Pritikin experience means exercising a lot, eating a salt-free, plant-based diet, and going to four lectures per day.  We are becoming good little longevities, God willing.

We are both feeling so good that we cannot believe it.  As usual, you can see pictures and daily descriptions on our blog.  (Google: Where is Ron  - and our blog shows up first,WhereIsRonNow.blogspot.com).   Lupe has our blog set as “home page” for her browser.

Escape winter !!  Come visit us at the Pritikin this February to see what we mean when we say, “adopting a Pritikin lifestyle is the best thing we could ever do to enjoy our aging bodies.

We wish you the very best, with love from Ron & Cynthia.
